My Uncle was Denied his Green Card and Deported from America Recently
….I don’t know how to feel.
I mean he’s in Canada. He was denied his green card because he couldn’t find a job, but like, I don’t know what the citizenship rules are in the US, because he was there for a good 20 years and had a job with multiple accounting firms up until he lost his job last year.
He lived in Detroit, then he lived in Chicago, then he lived in Florida. Does citizenship change based on your state? He was there legally, he had papers and then I guess they wouldn’t let him renew them or something…
I don’t understand why he was deported though. I’m not upset, I’m just really confused.
